Updated May 18: Although some fitness facilities in Oregon will be able to reopen under specific requirements, the Student Recreation Center will not be reopening this summer. Oregon’s universities are still subject to an executive order from Governor Kate Brown that suspends in-person instructional activities and limits campus operations through June 13. The Department of PE and Recreation is actively planning and preparing for reopening for the fall term.
The Department of Physical Education and Recreation (PE and Rec) promotes healthy lifestyles for the UO community through fitness, active recreation, and participation in sports.
